What is TravlFun?
A travel research and planning platform. You can discover destinations, compare estimated trip costs, generate itineraries, and organize everything into trip plans — free.
Can I book flights or hotels on TravlFun?
No — by design. TravlFun never books travel or takes payment. You build the plan here, then book wherever the deal is best. That's why our estimates have no reason to flatter any seller.
How accurate are the cost estimates?
They're modeled research ranges (typically for 7 days, 2 travelers) meant to make destinations comparable and budgets honest — not quotes. Real prices vary with season and booking timing. Details in the Estimate Disclaimer.
What is TravlScore?
A 1–100 destination score computed from seven explained dimensions: value, weather, family fit, adventure, walkability, hotel quality, and food. Click any score ring to see exactly why a destination earned its number.
Do I need an account?
Browsing, searching, and estimating work without one. An account (free — email or Google) adds saved destinations, trip plans, folders, a dashboard, and notifications that follow you across devices.
How do saved trips and folders work?
Tap the heart on any destination to save it. In Saved Trips you can set a status (Wishlist, Upcoming, Past, Dream), add travel dates, and organize trips into custom folders.
Can I share a trip plan?
Yes. In the trip planner, "Share trip" publishes a read-only snapshot at a private link anyone can view — no account needed. "Update snapshot" refreshes it after edits; "Stop sharing" kills the link instantly.
How do notifications and price alerts work?
The bell collects trip countdown reminders, weekly estimate movements for saved destinations, and weather alerts for your travel dates — all generated from our models. Price alerts can be switched off in Settings. Nothing is emailed yet; alerts live in the app.
Are the maps and weather real?
They're honest models. Maps are illustrated planning maps with estimated distances and times — not navigation. Weather shows seasonal averages and a modeled outlook — check a live forecast before traveling. Both say so right on the page.
How do I change my email or delete my account?
Display name, photo, and preferences are editable in Settings. For an email change or full account deletion, email luxagrid@yahoo.com from your account address — deletions complete within 30 days.
Is my data private?
Yes — your trips and profile are readable only by your account (plus Luxa Grid operators for support), we don't sell data, and there are no ad trackers. The full story is in the Privacy Policy.
