Privacy Policy

TravlFun is a travel research and planning service operated by Luxa Grid LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we handle when you use travlfun.com, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the product needs, we don't sell it, and we don't run ads or third-party trackers.
Information you give us
- Account details — your email address, display name, and (optionally) a profile photo you upload, when you create an account with email/password or Google Sign-In.
- Travel preferences — home airport, currency, units, interests, and notification settings you save to your profile.
- Your planning data — destinations you save, trip statuses and dates, folders, trip plans (itineraries, transportation, budgets, notes, packing lists).
- Shared plans — if you create a share link for a trip plan, a read-only snapshot of that plan becomes viewable by anyone who has the link, until you stop sharing.
Information stored only on your device
Some conveniences never leave your browser: theme choice, unit preferences, recent searches, your budget-planner target, and which notifications you've read. These live in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to us.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request data, to serve and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To provide the service: sign you in, store your trips, personalize recommendations and estimates.
- To secure accounts and prevent abuse.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. Cost figures on TravlFun are modeled estimates; we never process payments and never collect payment details — we don't book travel.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) on servers located in the United States. Google acts as our processor and handles this data under its own security and privacy commitments. Access to your planning data is restricted by security rules so that only your signed-in account (and, for support and operations, Luxa Grid administrators) can read it.
Your choices & rights
- Edit — update your profile, preferences, and all planning data anytime in Settings and Saved Trips.
- Stop sharing — revoking a trip's share link immediately deletes the public snapshot.
- Delete your account — email luxagrid@yahoo.com from your account address and we'll delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
- Notifications — price-alert notifications can be switched off in Settings.
Children
TravlFun is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, note the change on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
